Cortney made the switch to a real, whole foods diet about a decade ago and noticed significant improvements in her health. She felt the importance of a chemical-free lifestyle and began integrating natural alternatives to conventional household cleaners and personal care products into her routine. She created a natural living blog to share her experiences and help others take steps towards being healthier.

Cortney is now a busy single mother to two little girls, and has found many creative ways over the years to keep her household as natural and chemical-free as possible while on a budget. Making her own cleaners and personal care products became a necessity. Her family and friends started to notice her handmade creations; her body butters and hand salves in particular. She gave them away as gifts and everyone started raving about them. They loved that they were simple, yet amazingly rich and nourishing.
